It's Only the Beginning

On September 18, 2012, I was accepted into my college's German Language Program. I leave January 2, 2013 and will spend 3, possibly 4 months in a small city near Frankfurt. There has been a lot of controversy over me going for these following reasons:

1)Its expensive and I love souvenirs so that's a problem. (Trying to grow a shot glass collection)

2)I'm the favorite child of me and my 2 brothers. (I'm just kidding, but I am the only daughter so my parents worry a lot about everything)

3)I'm not doing so well in some of my classes right now and I'm freaking out of not passing

4)I don't know if I'll have a job when I come back. 

And most important of all:

5)I'm a Jewish American who happens to be the granddaughter of a Holocaust survivor.

Ponder over all those issues until my next post.
